I had two cans and finally decided to open one. They''ve really got a lot packed inside! The taste is smoked bacon so everyone should realize it''s not just ordinary bacon flavor. Other than that, it reheated well and tasted just fine.

This bacon was better than I expected. I plan to keep some on hand so I''m never without bacon. You can eat it right out of the can but if you heat it up it tastes like it just came out of the frying pan.

I ordered 6 cans to try out, I figured if at the worst they would make good novelty gifts for tactical buddies. I watched a couple videos on Youtube about it to get an idea of what to expect. One guy was showing how to use Yoder''s bacon, which is pretty much the same thing just with more lard apparently. He opened the top and the bottom and used the lid to push it through, which works great. So, I took the first can over to my hunting buddies house for a party, and opened it there. We popped it out, and was amazed at how much bacon was really in the can ]approximately 40+ pieces[. We layered the bacon slices in paper towels and popped them in the nuker ]microwave[ for a 20 seconds. The paper towels soaked up what little lard/grease there was on them, and they were good to go. Everyone tried it, and most people ate 2 or 3 pieces, then I told them it was from a can, and no one believed me until I showed them the can. It was more uniformly cooked than the bacon we made for dinner, and tasted the same. No one could tell the difference. There was even enough to have some left over, that he put on some burgers the next night. This stuff is great!
It keeps in the fridge for about a week, maybe longer ]it didn''t last that long in our house[, and it lasts 10 years in the can, so it''s a great addition to your food storage program. We did the math and it works out to be less ]at $13.99[ than store bought raw bacon, and it''s already cooked!
I will definitely buy more. I plan to keep at least a case on hand all the time. Now, my buddies are all buying at least a case each.
