The Walther P99AS Pistol has the traditional double action with an anti-stress mode trigger mechanism, making the Walther P99AS Pistol one of the world's safest firearms by preventing unintentional "reflex" firing in stressful situations. The trigger travel of the Walther P99AS Pistol is .55" long in the anti-stress mode with 4.4 lbs. trigger force, preventing inadvertent firing, and on all subsequent shots the trigger travel is reduced to .314" (at the same trigger force) and this permits firing in rapid sequence due to the quick trigger reset. The 4.17 inch barrel of the Walther P99AS Pistol has a black finish and is accented by adjustable 3 dot sights for pinpoint accuracy. The Walther P99AS Pistol is able to chamber 12 rounds of powerful .40 S&W ammunition, while featuring other incredible attributes such as a double stack magazine design, a striker decocking button, unique lines and distinctive P99 shape and an automated firing pin block safety. This is a fantastic pistol. It has the best trigger pull I have ever tried...and I have tried just about all of them! I own both the .9MM and .40 S&W. This is also the most ergonomical handgun you will ever hold in your hands. The recoil on .40S&W version is a bit pronounced, but not a major factor. It is one of the most fun pistols to shoot from my collection. TGSCOM''s service was quick and professional, as always. I have purchased several handguns from them, and everything always went smoothly.

I have a first Gen Walther P99, and I just bought the latest version to replace it as primary go to gun. In my opinion after having qualified for years with the HK USP 40 and shot for pleasure my 1911 I decided if I were to have one gun it would be this one! I have shot at Front Sight and learned that shot placement is what counts, so 12 rounds of 40 is better than 7 of 45 if you make your shots count. The Walther feels the best in my hand and shoots the most accurately. The quality is in keeping with the fine Walther tradition.
