The shotgun worked fine (for the most part)with the 5 round clip. However, the 10-round clips I ordered with the gun were awful (also made by the manufacturer). The rounds jammed after every shot fired. It was very disappointing.

I own plenty of shotguns, in all calibers and barrel lengths. This is the only one that sleeps under my bed. It is just awesome. The firepower, speed and ease of operation is the best. Never had a problem with it after 400+ rounds.

Awesome weapon!! I already recommended Saiga 12 to three of my friends. The accessories are endless, I already changed the stock and forearm with quad rail. I''ve only fired 50-75 rounds but no jams. Only problem, Some of the magazines do need to be filed a little. It is pretty simple though.

Factory Mags

Check again JG, Saiga factory mags only come in 5 & 8rd capacity, and the 8rd mags are RARE and very expensive. Your problematic 10rd mag is not factory. Most aftermarket mags will work though some need minor tweaking, and Pro-Mag mags SUCK, in ANY gun, so avoid those. Saiga shotguns need a break-in with high-brass shells to be able to reliably cycle the cheap low-brass shells.
The Saiga 12 IZ109 is THE best combat/utility/defense shotgun that is currently legal in the U.S., though it is somewhat mutilated for import purposes and requires modification of at least the fire control group and the addition of a pistol grip and folding stock to restore it to it''s intended and optimal configuration. Fortunately there is a world of modification accessories for it, and even better ones are coming soon.
