The Saiga rifle is made by Izhmash in Russia, they make the AK47 and many other World Famous Firearms. The same mechanism proved reliable throughout the World in many conficts. I own the .223 and .308 I finally got the 7.62x39 my favorite. These rifles may not be the prettiest of weapons but the average guy with average skill can defend his home and down game as well as maintain even modify their own Saiga rifle if they wished. My rifles eats any foreign ammo without a misfire, I am able to hit the bulls eye easily at 100 meters every time and at 200 meters I can still hit the target with the stock sites. I used to own a Colt AR15 but had to give it up, CA laws are stupid. This rifle is legal in CA. If you own pre-ban AK magazines, can be made to fit. I miss my AR but the Saiga came along when I thought there was no way I could enjoy owning any .223. If I was to take a rifle to battle, being a former Marine I would choose my Izhmash made rifle, dirt and mud don''t scare it. The AR is too picky but under good conditions is hard to beat, accuracy is so good. But we all know no such thing, so I will stick with the Saiga rifle to keep me alive, I am convinced, like many others around the world the Saiga AK is here to stay along with big names like Colt. If you asked me what weapon to buy I would encourage you to buy the Saiga rifle, caliber of your choice. Hell buy one of each, I will buy the 12 gauge soon, have fun.

Arrived on time. Sent a money order, but as soon as they received it they shipped my saiga off. Good customer service able to talk to a person who knew what was going on. Would defiantly buy from them again.
